Description:

Large orange-red ant with enormous mandibles. It was alone on a fence and very aggressive. About 4 mm in length.

Habitat:

Found at a toll booth at the entrance to Arriaga, Chiapas.

Hi eker, how can you tell if it is a Fire Ant? I can't tell from pictures except that it doesn't have teeth on the mandibles and in pictures of Fire Ants, they all have teeth. What do you think?
