The Indian jackal, also known as the Himalayan jackal is a subspecies of golden jackal native to Pakistan, India, Bhutan, Burma and Nepal.

Habitat:

Garhwal Himalayas.

Notes:

I wish I had a better picture. It was very shy and ran up the mountain when we pulled over.
