Star-of-Bethlehem

Ornithogalum umbellatum

Description:

A small lily native to Eurasia and northern Africa. The back of each petal has a narrow, tapering green stripe. The back of each sepal (tepal) has a broader green stripe.

Habitat:

While I see this occasionally in open, sunny fields, I find it much more frequently in partially shaded areas such as along the edge of a forest.
