fire ants

Description:

they are red a little bigger than the regular ant these ants have three legs and kill other ants the size of them tell from nest they are from. these ants are working ants

Habitat:

moist areas like river banks anywhere where with moist soil. they also can live under rocks and and logs.

Notes:

I saw these ants as I waited in line to go in to the flower fields. I thought this insect was cool because I wanted to know why are there different ants.
