Description:

Very large wing-span, Different shades of brown with wavy margins, eye spot on fore wing.

Habitat:

Shady wooded area along the Pongola river.

Notes:

They often roost among logs and on bark. This one kept landing on very dark bark which made it quite difficult to photograph. Fairly low flying. Spotted at around 9am.
