Butterfly - Mariposa

Strymon melinus

Description:

The most common hairstreak in our area, adults fly all year. Larvae feed on large variety of plants. The hindwing eyes spots and tails look like real eyes and antennae, and the hindwings are rubbed together when perched to attract a predator's attack to the non-lethal end of the butterfly.----------------------------------Es una especie muy común, los adultos vuelas todo el año.
