Yeah we saw it on someone's lawn in the mil woods area of Edmonton. We did some research and are theory is it has escape from a game bird hatchery. There is one near the Edmonton airport.

Yes, Welcome! The Chukar was introduced to North America in the 1930s and a population is established in the Okanagan region of BC. I didn't know that it was also in the Edmonton area. Where did you see this bird exactly? it looks like it is on a lawn area.
