Common Tree Shrew

Description:

Small mammal native to Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia. It has along nose with naked skin just above the nose. The tail is layered with long hair. The top of the body ranges in colour from red, ochre, brown, olive and dark. Their diet comprises of insects, leaves ad fruits.

Habitat:

They use the bulk of their time on the ground and in bush areas looking for food.
