This is a native plant to the U.S. This plant has many leaves and quite a few flowers. The flowers are a light violet color.

Habitat:

The violas habitat is in most countries but grows more in the illinois. The viola grows in the in open woodlands,savannas,woodland edges,and on the side of rivers and lakes. However,some people grow violas in their backyard or gardens. The viola grows mostly in the summer

Hello,

Though the common name of this plant is Mexican Petunia...it is not really in the petunia family. Makes it a bit confusing.
