This plant is widely popular around Florida but I don't know what it is.

Habitat:

I'm guessing wet places like Florida since I have seen them around a lot in Florida.

These are everywhere in SOFL! They seem almost invincible. We have them under a tree that was infested by spiraling white flies and the schefflera survived!

Commonly known as Umbrella Plant (though there are several different plant that go by that). Schefflera arboricola. Most of the ones I see around South Florida is the variegated cultivar variety. Very very popular here in landscaping.
