Welcome to Project Noah, Michelle! Can you provide some information on your spottings such as where you found them (habitat)? This appears to be a planted spotting in a residential area. That helps others know it's possibly not a native species.
It looks very similar to some kind of Virginia creeper. Have one potted at my balcony in Sweden. Gets orange leaves in the autumn and small blue berries... Here is a pic of a wild one http://www.cas.vanderbilt.edu/bioimages/...

Tiz is correct. It's Virginia Creeper, Parthenocissus quinquefolia ... :-)
