Form what I was reading, color changes are fairly common in this species, although yeah, the splits are striking.
Yup they love manure! And the fringe is definitely the best part, but yours with the splits are extra special :-)
There is the slightest chance that is a different species, but I don't think so. I have literally tons of these: everywhere that I laid horse manure to be exact! The white fringe is ever so cute
I am quite confident of my ID except that the dark splits in the cap are very unusual.
