Hummingbird Moth

Hemaris thysbe

Description:

Green with red band on it's tail. Commonly mistaken for a hummingbird.

Habitat:

Flowers inside a flower bed.

Notes:

Kind of a foggy photo, grabbed my camera and it fogged up due to the heat. Originally thought it was a baby hummingbird until I looked at the pictures close up.
