Blanding's Turtle

Description:

Bright yellow chin & throat. The hinged lower shell is yellow with a large dark blotch in the corner of each enlarged scale on the shell, but may be almost entirely black.

Habitat:

High brush marsh.

Notes:

Evaluated as Endangered by IUCN Red List.
