Cairina Moschata Domestica
Muscovy ducks are found in central and southern America. Muscovy's can survive hot weather because they come from a place that has tropical climate. The coldest they can survive is about 10 degrees Fahrenheit. Male Muscovy's often get in fights with other male Muscovy's. When fighting they get seriously injured and even die! They are either black or white or both. The females have red bumps around there eyes (they look like big pimples). The males have red bumps around their beak and eyes except there is more. You can tell if there not in good shape or if they're old by seeing if there are red bumps on the back of there neck. You can tell male and female apart by looking at the head. If the male is scared or frightened or excited it has small feathers that go up on there head (like the male muscovy I took a picture of) The females head stays like a normal ducks head all the time.
I personally don't like these ducks because I've seen male Muscovy's try to drown chicks (of there own kind). I also have seen males act very viscous around there own species.

Muscovey Ducks are pretty common. They are usually found with domestic ducks in public parks.
