Description:

Finches are small with grayish brown feathers. The male finches have a very red brest. Finches are 5 to 6 inches long.There are about 9,700 kinds of birds. Finches are NOT the smallest bird ,a bee hummingbird it is 2 inches (5 centimeter) long. Birds have as many as 25,000 feathers. Males have darker feathers than females.

Habitat:

Finches nest everywhere they nest in cites,forest,wetlands,grasslands,or caves.
