Description:

Small plant with relatively large bright green leaves that have "spines" along their peripheries. Branches thin and inconspicuous.

Habitat:

Found in an area clustered with dry autumn leaves at the edge of a forest; exposed to the sunlight despite the shade of the trees. Also found directly in front of a tall log laid on the ground. Found in Northern United States

Notes:
