The flowers are double-tongued, opening white and fading to yellow,so it is called literally "gold silver flower" in Chinese.
The flower is of high medicinal value in traditional Chinese medicine.

Oh,I think it's because in US no one treat it as kind of medical herb.In China,most people cook honeysuckle tea using its dried flower during summer days.
This is an invasive in the US!
