When i saw this butterfly i thought it was amazing but i didnt know the actual name but my friend called it a angel butterfly so thats what i started calling it i just love angel butterflies but their really hard to catch

Actually it looks like a large white.. as in butterfly. Notice the wings are notflat against the wall. Wish there was a cropped versiion of this pic

It's difficult to tell without more detail, but this could be a moth not a butterfly! I've moved it to arthropods for you.
