Chinchilla

Chinchillidae

Description:

From Peru (Andes Mountains region) this is a nocturnal rodent. It keeps its coat clean and soft by bathing in volcano dust. They are high energy and love to play for hours! Make wonderful friends ^_^ never bite and can be trained. They let out barks when they are dissatisfied, squeaks when happy, whimpers when needing attention and also they're super smart. Out of all the games love hide & seek the most. Trust me... Also, the chinchilla can jump up to 10 feet into the air, so don't try to box this little guy in without a roof over his head!
