Description:

Wing injured and currently at rehab. at VINS. The Cooper's Hawk is a short winged, long tailed Hawk. Keeps to woods and does not sour high in the open. Adults have blue gray backs, rusty breasts. Immature are brown, streaked. Tail rounded.

Habitat:

Winters in northern states. Breads throughout most of the US.
