This is a tough situation. I take it this is a public pool? Yes they can survive in the pool, but I doubt y'all want them there. The problem with moving them is the eggs have a top and bottom and can't be moved around too much or the embryos will die. If they need to be moved you can always do so, just try to be as careful as possible. You can scoop them into a large dish where they won't be squished together and move them to a nearby pond. They will probably die, but if you have to move them then you have to move them.
