Cnemidophorus sexlineatus
This is a large male, with a blue-green underbelly. I do not think this is the eastern subspecies, as the colors are not as bright or distinct. But it's not green either which rules out the viridis subspecies. This leads me to believe (through process of elimination) it could be the Texas subspecies, but I haven't found any photos online of it.
This guy was about 10-12 inches long including his tail. I found him trapped with a dozen large black beetles in a small pit. He seemed grateful to get out and let me take a few photos before running away.
