Dicentra cucullaria
An herbaceous spring wildflower. Each flower has two spurs as long as the flower stem. The leaves have three finely divided leaflets similar in appearance to other local Dicentra species (squirrel corn and bleeding hearts).
Rich woods.
I've seen this in the mountains of Virginia and Tennessee. I don't know if it's found at lower elevations.
