Kalanchoe

Kalanchoe serrata

Description:

This succulent has mottled markings.

Habitat:

It was growing in a crack in the pavement about a foot above a drain where there was water. I wondered how long its roots had to be to reach it. Meanwhile people were stomping past on the pavement and nobody even looked twice... at the plant. I got a few stares because I was on my knees peering into a drain.
