Description:

She is looking for a male ant to mate with. She will then proceed to shed her wings and establish a new colony by laying eggs and then the first worker ants coming out of her precious eggs will consolidate the colony and then expand it to many woven nests and across trees!! Size is about 30mm. Laborious flying for a few meters at one go.

Habitat:

Prefers trees with broad leaves.
