Ahh fantastic fungi !! Macrolepiota almost certain but amazing species. Like gully.moy I would love to know what it was coming from. Do you remember?

Stipe texture is very indicative of Macrolepiota, I suspect you are correct with that. What was it growing from?

I would think lepiota... the macroleps I've seen have shorter stout stalks
