Marbled Cellar Spider

holocnemus pluchei

Description:

Holocnemus pluchei is a decent sized spider, it have long legs and you can find it hanging upside down in bushes and trees. Characteristics: long legs (they are brown with white and black strips where their legs bend) the have a large black spot on it’s back with white and brown spots. it’s legs are connected to it’s abdomen It’s thorax is the biggest part of his body. (besides the legs) There venom is extremely deadly, however their fangs are to small to peirce through human skin so they are harmless to humans This spider eats flys and other insects. They trap them in there webs, bind them with more web, and then bite them. They reproduce sexually.When the spider bites it’s prey, it injects venom and digestive enzymes. It has an open circulatory system. They also have a very complex nervous system.

On the side of my house.

I found the pattern on his back to be quite interesting! I also noticed that he's missing a leg!!
