White Throated Crake

Description:

This is a small crake.It measures 16 cm. and weighs 42 grams. is consider very common in Costa Rica and it is found from Honduras to Colombia and Ecuador. The one in this picture is shows the coloration from the caribean of Costa Rica

Habitat:

They live in swamps with herbaceous vegetation, secondary forest, flooded grasslands, river banks and lagoons.
