Odocoileus virginianus
This Deer was a small Dow and was alone. She was peacefully eating and was undisturbed by the passing people. Her skin was a beautiful golden brown and her stomach, backside, and the underneath of her tail was a clean white. She was skinny with long ears and boney legs.
This particular Deer was found in a grassy field in Great Smokey Mountain National Park. The field was warm, sunny, and full if tall, thick, green grass. The woods were just as thick and were full with many different types of plant life.
