Welcome! Bugguide is an excellent site but sometimes there are definitely too much bugs there ;-)...
In my eyes Dasychira is more greyish and generally darker than yours. I think it is an Orgyia sp., but I am not 100%sure if it is Definita or Leucostigma (or another?). Please, verify!
