Description:

Small pink flowers on a skinny tree with not many branches

Notes:

Large deciduous shrub. Native to eastern North America. Typically grows to 6-9 meters tall. The bark is red-brownish with scaly surface. Native Americans used to consume redbud flowers raw or boiled.
