carpodacus mexicanus house finch now
I am told its a house finch but I don't know the latin name for it . Now thanks to you very smart people I know that its called a carpodacus mexicanus . for some reason I cant go up and add that to the box that its suppose to go in .

and btw, latin name is carpodacus mexicanus

Doing a simple google search with the common name gives you thousands of sites with the latin name. http://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/house...
