Stonefly

Description:

Winged insect, gray to brown in coloe, about 1.5 inches long, black royndveyes on side of head. Found in our house.

Habitat:

Unknown, found in our house, we live near a creek with a forest in our backyard in upstate NY a few miles from Saratoga Lake at base of Adirondacks

Thanks for the quick ID suggestion from ChunXingWong!. We did some reading and sure enough it's definitely a stonefly. First time my son has found one. My 3 1/2 yr old loves this site!
