Blue-green egg that fell from nest during a storm, about 3cm in length.

Habitat:

Wooded area near an oak tree Great Lakes Michigan.

Notes:

According to "Science Daily" a male robin will be more diligent in caring for its young if the eggs its mate lays are a brighter shade of blue.
