Spotting

Description:

These berries (they have the color of a plum, but are the size slightly smaller than a cranberrie) are growing on a tree in my backyard. At first I thought the tree was a crabapple tree, but then these berries started growing on it. Anyone know what type of tree this is? Including both the berries and leaf. Let me know if you need anything else. I'd love to know if the berries are edible.

The juice of the berries stains really bad - very purple
