Invasive and growing wild. This vine does produce the large and tart muscadine grapes which are considered to be a local delicacy.

That shouldn't be a problem - it's everywhere in the forest around my house and I collect some grapes for jelly every year. Personally, I'm not a big fan of just eating the grapes straight - the texture of them is just odd.

Interesting spotting. I see why the species is called "rotundifolia". Thanks for the information, Musicwolf. I'd love to see a follow-up spotting with fruit on the vine !
