Green Anole

Abolished carolinensis

Description:

This a bright green, able to change its color to brown. It is not a true chameleon, though it can change color. It is closely related to Iguanas.

Habitat:

This anole was observed in a County Nature Preserve in a pine flat woods area. It was scurrying along a branch of a Slash Pine.
