Common Grackle

Description:

Its large length is usually around 12 inches and the plumage is iridescent: colors ranging from black, blue, and even purple.

This species benefits under urbanization due to its resourcefulness and omnivorous feeding habits which allows the bird to feed on human food scraps as well as a natural diet of insects.
