Agkistrodon piscivorus leucostoma

Description:

Agkistrodon piscivorus leucostoma is a venomous pitviper subspecies found in the south central United States. It is the smallest of the three subspecies and tends to be darker in color.

Notes:

Spotted with fellow Noah spotter AshleyT, this juvenile Cottonmouth still exhibited its neonate yellow tail on the base.
