Spotting

Description:

This is at the unripened stage as far as I can tell, it is sharp and thorny and looks kind of like an egg on the inside I'm not sure what it is but it might be some sort of nut.

Habitat:

Found on a tree in lethbridge which is in the south region of Alberta which is in the southwestern region of Canada.

Notes:

Thorny, greenish grey on the outside, egg like on the inside, and egg sized maybe a little bit smaller.
