Augochlora pura
This solitary female will visit many species of flowers to collect pollen and then use the pollen to create a pollen ball or nectar which they place in supply cells of the nest. They nest in soft, rotting, dead wood or inside preexisting tunnels of wood-boring insects.

Thanks Mark. They seem to prefer the Thai basil in my garden. They move fast though. Finally got a shot of one... :-)
