Burrowing bug

Family Cydnidae

Description:

Small bug ~⅛"

Habitat:

Found on the ground which has recently been cleared of wild rose and nettle.

Notes:

I'm hoping someone can help me id this bug. I found it near my new beehive. While I don't think it is a small hive beetle, I just want to be sure.
