Painted Skimmer dragonfly

Libellula semifasciata

Description:

Judging from the colors and the wing pattern, this looks to me like a Painted Skimmer, though I am going only on the basis of information and photos from the web, having never seen one before in person.

Habitat:

I spotted this dragonfly flying around near a drainage area just off of the main trail leading away from the visitor center at Huntley Meadows Park, about 100 yards or so from the visitor center.
