Complimenti Filippo. Questo bruco sembra un cartone animato. Molto carino.

Congrats Filippo, your hungry caterpillar is our Spotting of the Day! Caterpillars need to consume enough to sustain themselves into adulthood and must eat an enormous amount. Depending upon the species, a caterpillar can consume up to 27,000 times its body weight, increasing its body mass by as much as 1,000 times!

Awesome spotting Fillipo,it look like a river seened from the air, congrats and thanks for sharing

In my opinion, this is exactly the kind of picture that makes a great spotting because it documents a unique and unusual behavior. I've never seen a caterpillar eat it's way between the veins of a leaf. Well seen.

thanks guys. i was not sure about posting this pic 'cause it's not so important for the project and I think that Noah has not to become a sort of "nature instagram", but if you like it, that's enough for me..
