Bushy shrub with bi-coloured flower spikes that glow in an elongated fashion arching and criss-crossing. Flowers are purple and white.

Habitat:

Roadside. Probably part of a beautification drive. just outside the main gate of a bungalow in Ooty, a tourist destination.
