Description:

Habitat:

Specializing in certain environmental claims, hygrophile (moisture-loving) field type with a penchant for free, unbewaldetes terrain. One finds the species is common in field margins, on dumps, cemeteries and gardens under stones. The common Feldschnurfüßer preferred heavy alkaline soils (pH 7.2 to 9.2). Also on acidic soils (secondary spruce cultures) with higher pH at greater depths.
