Feather duster worm

Sabellastarte spectabilis


Large worm can reach 80 mm in lenght. The tentacles are striped in dark and pale brown bands.


Native range is the Indian Ocean and the Red Sea, however it is now reported from Hawaii and Gulf of Mexico.
