Description:

Of the White and Sulpher Family, this Cabbage White is about 1 5/8th of an inch. White above with 1 (male) or 2 (female) black spots. Below, yellowish white. Caterpillar green with yellow stripes. One of the most common butterflies. Larvae feed on cabbage leaves and wild mustard.

Habitat:

Close to the garden cabbage. Fields and gardens.
