Roughly two to three times the size of your typical "ladybug" beetle - about the diameter of a penny.
Typically feeds on the leaves of Morning Glory-type vine plants; this one was found on the leaves of a wild boysonberry branch. You're likely to find them on flowering vines and ivies in fields and meadows.
